This is actually much harder than it sounds. I think my wife was paying 1400 to 1500 a month for coverage for health care just before I turned 65 and was eligible for Medicare. Then suddenly this dropped to around 300 a month for Medicare which covers everything with basically no deductible in most cases. However, if you income is low enough, I think it's only 109 to 120 a month and changes according to your actual income per year.
However, for many people surviving until they are 65 with various health conditions is no easy matter as you can see. Unless you can afford 1400 or 1500 dollars a month in health care coverage you can easily be dead before your time. So, I would say the most dangerous time to be alive regarding health conditions likely is between zero and 30 and then from 50 to 65 at least here in the U.S.
If you live to be 30 here in the U.S. it is quite likely you now will be alive until 90 or more. Of course
there are always exceptions to every rule. For example, my father in law was still flying his Beechcraft Bonanza V Tail at 85 and was an excellent pilot and flew me down to Ventana Wilderness area then.
However, now he is almost 98 years old and might be gone this week the way things look. But, in 1999 he lost his wife of 20 or more years and then a couple of years ago he also lost his girlfriend likely of at least 13 or 14 years after the death of his wife, (My wife's mother was his wife. So he is her Step Dad). So, literally you never know just how long you will live. 100 or more anyone?
So, we actively encouraged him to date and he got with a Test pilot's wife who was a widow. She was from England and a wonderful lady too.
Staying active and even dating new people or even the right person often helps keep people alive longer because it gives them someone to stay alive for.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
