If the U.S. has to go to war with China over N. Korea which side do we want Russia on?

The ex-British Ambassador to Russia for 4 years was on Fareed Zacharia GPS Sunday Morning on CNN  and asked that question in the title of this article. I thought it was a great one.

If you take the point of view that Trump wants Russia on our side while he is taking out N. Korean Nukes and ICBMs then all this takes on an entirely different meaning here.

So, going in Trump might see China as our real enemy and not Russia. So, making friends with Putin is a way to realize we are going head to head with China at least regarding Trade worldwide and at least regarding N. Korea.

So, it could goad China into solving the North Korean problem before the U.S. has to nuke the place to get rid of the ICBMs.

I think this is a very important consideration in all this.

Russia is no longer a communist state like China still is. China is a State Capitalistic Communistic State. I'm not sure any other state does it this way but China.

Russia I would describe as pretending to be a democracy but resembling more Hitler's Germany with Putin at it's head. So, like many countries on earth it is a dictatorship pretending to be a democracy.

However, the Capitalistic part has worked for China along with the one child policy since the 1970s or so. It has caused unbelievable social problems (too many men and not enough women) but other than that it has made China very wealthy. The problem they are dealing with now is:

TOO MANY OLD PEOPLE WITH NOT ENOUGH YOUNG PEOPLE TO TAKE CARE OF THEM AND ECONOMICALLY SUPPORT THEM.

So, China has to now figure out what to do with all the BABY BOOMERS now in their 60s and 70 and beyond in China.
