Logan (2017) - IMDb
www.imdb.com/title/tt3315342/
This is very different from most X-Men movies you may have seen. It takes everything in an entirely different direction. The year is 2029 and a lot has happened, a lot has changed and Dr. Xavier (Patrick Stewart) is now 90 years old. Wolverine (Logan is somewhat immortal but not feeling well most of the time in this one and there are new characters you haven't seen before. But, be prepared to cry in this one. I was prepared because Steven Colbert had said he cried at this movie and I and everyone else today did too.
However, I found this movie very cathartic and cleansing somehow given the horrific time the nation has been having since November. So, I feel more peace about life in general after watching this movie. (However, that's just me).
My mother who lived through both the Great Depression and World war II and told me how often they didn't even have money to buy metal hinges for their front door a Alkai Point, Seattle Washington then in the Great Depression when she grew up in the 1920s and early 1930s so they only had leather hinges for the front door and for doors in general and their heater was a wood stove made from an old 50 gallon drum Barrel at that time.
So, her statement which is how she made it through those times was "Let Go and Let God"
Another statement of those times was "Do what you can and the Rest Can".
"So, do what you can and the rest stuff because you have to survive no matter what happens for your sake and for the sake of your relatives and everyone you know."
We appear now to be in times like this once again where World War II began and hundreds of millions likely are going to die because of Presidents like Trump worldwide.
