User Intefaces like SIRI might cause people to stop learning to read and write worldwide

I can hear the children saying this now: "Mom! As long as C3PO is walking around with me or on my wrist I never need to learn how to read or write!" (At least until a Solar Flare wipes out all electronic devices on that side of the planet some time naturally within the next 500 years!)

So, I can see this sort of problem arising more and more within 20 years of SIRI and other talking Devices in the home around children. You and I can already see Television remotes going away with children and adults just talking to their SIRI type of device. IN the last years of STEVE Jobs Life it was his priority to develop SIRI because he saw this as a labor saving device worldwide.

And as long as your SIRI type of device (likely hand held on your smart phone) you will be able to translate from any language listed on your phone to English or whatever language you want it translated to as well. This doesn't mean it will be more than 70% accurate if you have used Robot Translators like "Google Translate" for example, But it does mean you will at least have some Idea of what someone in a foreign language you don't speak is saying to you then.
