using mappingsupport.com I find is kind of Tricky. So, for me, the easiest way to find the Ferguson fire on it was to hit the minus key enough and then find the Yosemite area. The easiest way for me to find it was to look for the shape of Lake Tahoe on the map. If you know the shape and size of Mono Lake this is another landmark you can use also. It would be basically due west from Mono Lake or mostly south from Lake Tahoe. You can also use the minus key and go out and you can see all the fires in the state and some it nearby states through satellite mapping of hotspots as well. Then if you want to drill down on the Ferguson fire to analyze it more thoroughly hit the plus key while positioning the map so it drills down where you want it to.
Here is the Carr Fire URL so you can minus out to begin checking it all out statewide or beyond.
