How you know you are actually looking at an HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) page?

First of all down the far left side of the page are numbers starting with 1 at the top and they can literally go on forever as long as coding continues on the same page. The numbers are a reference point for programmers so they know at which point different things are happening in their HTML program. But, you never see any of this until and unless you are actually looking at an actual HTML coding page.

Second, things associated but not limited to new paragraphs are in Green

third, HREF coding and some other things are in blue

Fourth, URLs are usually all in Red.

So, this is how you usually know you are actually in an HTML coding page (or something compatible to HTML sort of like Java language or another one.

And depending on the type of program you are writing there are many other variables too in how things are done. And each programmer tends to have his or her own particular style of programming usually that they are more comfortable working and building code in.
