It was very IN for a time to be into Lucid Dreaming in California among California Cosmics especially (New Agers) in the 1970s and 1980s and likely still. The point of lucid dreaming of course is to help guide your dreams a little like how we choose the movies we go to in theaters. So, by creating visions of angels or by visualizing oneself with wings on as we fly in our dreams often this takes us closer to God and opens up our Higher Senses to be closer with God. And by Being Closer to God this brings more peace and better decisions to one's life and one's life becomes sort of a miracle once you learn how to do this. it starts with visualizing exactly what you want to experience. However, be careful with this because sometimes whatever you wish for actually happens. So, be careful what you wish for lucid Dreaming.
Another term that helps with all this is visualizing what you want in your life both waking and dreaming. It's a lot like being an architect designing a home you want to live in and the furniture you want there too. This all is extremely powerful so be very careful what you wish for as you get closer and closer to God.
