Rachel Maddow speaks about her new book on late Night TV Shows

Her book is called: 

Prequel: An American Fight Against Fascism

It is a historical book about how Nazi supporters lived in the U.S. like Trump's fallowers now. 

She was speaking how one of Trump's tricks in creating a dictatorship is to lessen the meaning of the word Fascism by calling people who are not fascists fascists. For example, Putin calls the present Government in Ukraine a fascist government as a way of "Muddying the water" too where if people don't use words right in a way they can become meaningless to some people.

Also, she was saying that the extreme Republicans in the party especially in the House of Representatives likely should be considered to be fascists too in that they do not want the government to operate like a Democracy where anything useful can be done. Instead their goal is to prevent the Democracy from functioning to bring about a dictatorship under Trump.

So, it makes more sense how the extreme right is fighting ANYTHING happening at all in the house of Representatives where about 8 or 10 Republicans are completely destroying democracy at least as far as the House of Representatives real business is concerned.

Mike Johnson the present Speaker was forced to call upon Democrats to vote for his bill to fund the government for example. It is still unknown whether those 8 or 10 Republicans will try to oust Mike Johnson from his Speakership for bringing Democrats on board to pass the funding bill

However, if he hadn't done this his speakership would be over now. 

It's interesting that what he just did was what Cost Speaker McCarthy his job.
