I was in Austin about a week ago when I flew home last Saturday. I had to urinate 6 pounds of Water a night with a diuretic to survive with edema there which was difficult because I didn't sleep much (but I survived it). It was a relief to get back to the northern Coast of California where the day time temperatures have stayed under 65 degrees with night time temperatures around 50 to 55 lows. So, even though I had many amazing experiences in Austin and Boerne and San Antonio Texas and driving between all these places I'm very relieved to be in the much cooler weather of where I live nearer to San Francisco now. I feel very sorry for the many homeless people (especially black people that I saw in Austin) who seemed very desperate and near death at these same temperatures that are hitting today which is likely around 107 degrees in a heat index but only 97 degrees Fahrenheit temperature wise. It's obvious to me that many homeless people will die around the world in Temperatures like this this summer.
But, I suppose the good news (as long as the homeless people are under a bridge or something) is that the lightning and thunder and rain will also hit this week from this Tuesday through Sunday and bring the temperatures down somewhat if the people can survive Sunday and Monday with the high temperatures.
