Thousands of people are starving in Mozambique because of Cyclone aftermath. soldiers are trying to dole out food but there isn't enough

In the footage from PBS Newshour Thursday March 21st 2019  you can see the armed soldiers there are scared of the starving people. So, periodically they are shooting into the air to scare local starving people into obedience who are panicked from what has happened. Periodically they are throwing out bags of rice one at a time into the panicked starving masses so they stop attacking the soldiers for food so instead the people attack each other for the food.

The rain from the Cyclone has created an artificial lake as big as Luxembourg which has made travel by anything but on foot or helicopter or maybe shallow draft boats impossible

It looks like a very difficult situation likely with no potable water and no food either so likely many many could die within a very short time especially if they try to drink the water that fell from the sky that likely now is polluted. But, because everything is wet they might not be able to boil the water to protect themselves from harm. It's hard to say. But, either way, it seems like many panicked people might die in the next month in Mozambique from what I'm seeing there either from killing each other over food in panic or from drinking foul water that isn't boiled.

Panicked people without potable food and water are dangerous within 2 or 3 days of this. This is pretty universal around the world by the way.

Unfortunately, I think we will see things like this over and over again because of global Climate change and Global Warming this century especially in 3rd world nations around the world where whole cities of people might disappear within 1 month where 90% might be gone from violence or diseases within a month or two, especially when governments aren't run well or efficiently for the benefit of the people.
