What is "Leisure to Practice"?

It means that you potentially have 24 hours a day to pray for yourself, your family and all life in the universe in the past, present and future.

You are no longer struggling to make a living and struggling to pay your bills because God has found a way to allow you to pray for all life in the universe in the past, present and future 24 hours a day from then on.

There are many many ways that God can accomplish this if you think about it. And for each of us likely it would be different (as a solution). So, if you want to be allowed to have the "Leisure to Practice" which means to pray then pray for this.

However, I didn't expect when I prayed for this that I would have to almost die for 8 months straight to get here.

But, the Lord works in Mysterious Ways. This we all know is true!

I was concerned (and so were my doctors) that I might die from Fall of 1998 to May of 1999. It was quite a shock to be told on the same day that:

1. They had found out what was wrong with me that May through the process of elimination: Heart virus.
And
2. That I might be able to have a normal lifespan even though I had been forced to retire 8 months before.

So, the Fall of 1999 I took my mother and my 10 year old daughter to Scotland where my mother's mother grew up from about 12 on to adulthood and the same for her father from 8 years old to adulthood. (Both had been born in the U.S. but a family disaster had sent them home to Scotland. My Grandmother was born in 1888 in Philadelphia but her family's home burned down. And my Grandfather's father died getting medicine by getting pneumonia for his son and dying in Boston one winter and his mother and sister and brother had to return to Scotland and grow up there before they returned to the U.S. where they were born.

So, going and meeting my then 25 year old son and his friend who were going around Europe on a Eurail pass and then meeting them in Munich, Germany when I rented a 6 passenger Motorhome which was a 5 speed diesel was my way of proving to myself I was still alive and on this planet with my family. This was the fall of 1999. We drove through Germany, Austria, Switzerland and into Italy as far as Aoste and drove up on the Italian side near the Matterhorn up into the Alps from Italy.

So,  basically God gave me the "Leisure to Practice" in 1999 in May almost 20 years ago now which to me is something only God could have done!
