I was having a humorous conversation with a friend recently and we were talking about the genetic changes that took place in men and women as they moved out of Africa and settled the rest of Europe and Asia. And from asia North and South America were settled.
We were talking about how all the genetic changes happened to create all the races and took it for granted that all genetic changes including the creation of all races happened because of climate, diet, and social organization.
we remarked that Blue eyes, lavender eyes and green eyes are one step away from albino and only useful to people living near the poles with a lot of clouds, cold and rainy and snowy weather. We also realized that the protuberant African male organ froze off as people moved into the Alps and frozen climates. So only males with organs that could completely contract within their bodies during snow and freezing times would be able to reproduce. Other males whose organs were too naturally large to do this got frostbite under these conditions and had their organs frozen off or died. One more genetic world wide attribute we had figured out. A Great deal of laughing accompanied this worldwide ranging conversation.
In the end wherever you live, you don't survive without adapting to the climate if you don't wear clothes or build structures. So by the time these people started making clothes and building structures to stay warm the genetic changes had all taken place.
That is not to say that people aren't still changing and evolving, physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually both for good and for ill. However, only the future will show us all what attributes survive best in this world we now live in. It will be interesting to watch.
