This will be a cautionary tale about Channeling. My father and my Aunt and many people I grew up with were into listening to the Channellings through Mr. Ballard until he passed away in 1939 and Mrs. Ballard until she passed away in the early 1970s. My father and my Aunt were two of these people. Though my mother listened to these channellings as well, she was more already there herself where she experienced God and Angels all the time and didn't really need to listen to live or recorded channellings by anyone. However, because she was married to my father she was loyal to what he was loyal to as well.
Now, my daughter who is very like my father is a part of a group based upon channelling. I have told her that ideally it is better if you want to listen to channelling that you do it yourself. The main reason for this is clarity. Whenever you listen to a channel you have to be concerned about the clarity of what you receive. It is not just the words because often there is what some people call radiation involved as well. If you have been to church and experienced a charismatic minister you will know what I am talking about. Often the radiation(Grace) (Healing power) of God is present along with the channeling. So, clarity is often very important in how it affects your life, your genetics on into the future for thousands of years. So, making sure what you are participating in is as clear and as useful as possible for both yourself, your family, and your friends is very important.
I have had my whole life to think about things like this but many people are new to all this and can easily go off on one tangent or another which might if they are not balanced enough take away their sanity or their life eventually.
For example, I have known people who joined the church I was raised in to go to a class with Mrs. Ballard in Shasta Springs and then after class while still wearing a white suit, white shoes, white tie go up on Mt. Shasta and think that they were going to ascend into the Ascended Masters realms and since even during the summer temperatures on the mountain go below freezing just before morning they were found a few weeks later passed on on the mountain. Now, some people might say, "Oh. They believed they were going to God and so they did." However, my reaction might be that, "They were so delusional that they committed suicide because they were so anxious to pass over." So, how might God deal with all that since they were sincere? Only God can answer that in the end. It is between them and their maker. However, for me, doing something like that is just impractical and I believe God wants us all to be practical because I deeply believe "God Helps Those who Help Themselves!"
Recently, I found myself in a Fund Raiser at the most expensive to join Country Club in my County surrounded by TV personalities and millionaires and very successful people for likely the best Private School in the County where I live. And I said to myself suddenly, "What in the World Am I doing here?" And God came to me and said, "Fred. I have worked on you all your life to get you here right now. Don't worry about it!" I had to laugh at myself because I actually understood that moment. God has taught me how to BE. And so as my wife was donating and helping with the fund raiser I was just talking to my friends, having a wonderful time and just Being there among all these rich and famous people. And then I thought to myself, "Yes God. I get it!"
