One way to view what a human being is is that it is a colony of different groups of cells that are all interdependent upon each other.
However, also what happens is that cells within our bodies communicate with each other. However, they do not just communicate with cells inside our bodies they also communicate with plant and animal cells both inside and outside of our bodies as well. However, if you are eating plant and animal life this becomes a little difficult if you are listening to the plant and animal life you are eating and what those cells are saying if they are still alive to communicate.
But, if you live in a big city you will tend to prioritize people over plants and animals unless you live more in the country and don't have to worry about people that much in your life.
To learn more about this way of looking at life on earth read "The Secret Life of Plants".
My way of understanding all this is cells communicate in various ways including what might be called telepathy. So, from my way of thinking people who are empaths (they know what other people are thinking and feeling all the time) would be because their cells have gotten good at not only reading other cells in other bodies but somehow this information is communicated to the conscious mind and not just to the subconscious mind.
For example, sometimes when I weed eat the yard with a weed eater I experience the upsetedness of all plants and trees in the area. Because all plants including trees get distressed when any plants or trees are killed. But, more than anything read "The Secret Life of Plants" and similar types of books if you are interested in knowing more intellectually about this. Or you can just try to go to the wilderness and experience plant life including trees yourself for several days. Fasting increases this sensitivity but one must be used to the wilderness a lot and know how to survive there to pull this off. This isn't for a novice. So, please don't fast and die because you don't know what you are doing yet because you literally get physically and mentally lost and are never found again.
Since my grandfather was a hunter and trained his sons to hunt things like Bear, and Elk and Deer and everything wild from about 1912 when his first son was born (mine was born in 1916) so when I came along in 1948 I was taught to look for landmarks everywhere I went as a young person. So, I wouldn't just wander into a forest where everything looks just the same without being near a marked trail, or river or being able to see a mountain or some reference point in the distance. So, landmarks are really important when you are in the wilderness otherwise you have no idea of where you are unless you are going to walk through a forest and with a hatchet chipping a little piece out of each tree along your way so you can make it back to civilization. And these days if you do that rangers might be upset with you too.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
