The United Kingdom’s specialist task force for dealing with digital threats has launched a large-scale offensive against the Islamic State group (IS). Utilizing British Royal Air Force (RAF) resources, the “black ops” attack is said to have jammed much of the terrorist organization’s communication network in Libya, making it much harder for its forces to coordinate. “All enemy communications including mobile phones and the internet are vulnerable to interception.
