Janet Jackson pregnant at 49

  • She might be rich enough to get enough medical help to pull this off. However, the oldest successful pregnancy and birth I have seen that worked out okay likely was around 44 to 46 years old when they got pregnant. I knew someone who got pregnant around 54 or 56 who already had up to 5 kids already and they eventually died of Senile dementia because it had taken too much out of them to do this at that late an age. I think having a surrogate baby  might be a better option for most people if they are over 44 or 46 but that's just my thoughts on the subject, because people are breaking barriers all the time with ever evolving medical technology worldwide.

Pregnant at 50? That’s the way love goes for Janet Jackson.
The superstar pop diva, who will hit the big 5-0 on May 16, is expecting her first child, a family member confirmed to The Post on Wednesday.
“This is her dream. There had been rumors years ago that she had a secret child, and the funny thing about that is that she always wished that she had a child of her own,” the source said, adding that Jackson is two to three months pregnant and is due in late fall, early winter.

The bombshell baby news, which was first reported by Entertainment Tonight, comes just days before Mother’s Day and after the “What Have You Done for Me Lately” singer announced she would be postponing her long-planned “Unbreakable World” tour indefinitely while she and her billionaire husband, Wissam Al Mana, start “planning” their family.
“We’re in the second leg of the tour, and there actually has been a sudden change,” Jackson said in a nearly two-minute video message posted April 6 to her Twitter account, which has more than 3 million followers.
“I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family,” said a smiling Jackson.
“So I’m gonna have to delay the tour. Please, if you can try to understand, it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up. Doctor’s orders.”
She added, “I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.”
Jackson’s fans did not take the news lightly, as a legion of them took to Twitter to air their frustration over the postponed tour, which began in August 2015.
“Janet Jackson did her fans dirty with her tour-less tour,” Twitter user @RenaFace posted after the announcement.
At almost 50, doctors had told Jackson it would be next to impossible to guarantee a healthy pregnancy if she tried the old-fashioned ways, the source said.
“So they did what they had to do,” the source said, without further elaborating on what the couple did to get pregnant. “And they’re delighted. If you refer to this as some sort of science experiment, some test-tube baby, she’d be highly offended.
“She’s doing well, the baby is doing well and they can’t wait to share with her fans this joy.”
A second family source said that with the death of her brother Michael at 50 and now rock star Prince at 57, Jackson sees her own mortality and she wants children.
“She’s always wanted more than one child,” the source said. “Who knows? Maybe, she’ll have triplets or more. She’d be thrilled.”
Jackson secretly married Al Mana, a Qatar-born tycoon who is nearly 10 years her junior, in 2012. He’s her third husband. They met in 2010 and their union wasn’t made public until 2013.
Twitter user @darrenparker tweeted at Jackson saying, “so great you are going to start a family. Just refund our money for the cancelled concert. How disrespectful to your fans!!!”
Before Al Mana, the pop star eloped with singer James DeBarge in 1984 when she was only 18 and divorced months later.
In 1991, she wed dancer RenĂ© Elizondo Jr. in secret. News that they were married didn’t become public until they filed for separation in 1999.
Jackson has been teasing the official music video for her new single, “Dammn Baby,” from her chart-topping “Unbreakable” album on social media.
“Unbreakable” was first released in October under Jackson’s independent label Rhythm Nation.
It is the 11th studio album by Jackson and her seventh album to top the charts.
Jackson’s wide range of music hits, including “Miss You Much,” “Escapade” and “All For You,” date back to the mid-1980s.
