Film Review: ‘Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds’

I just tried to DVR this about a week out but my TIVO doesn't have it recorded as being there on the 7th yet. So, hopefully I will still get this to watch with my wife. Debbie Reynolds as "Tammy" in song and movies was very influential on 9 year old Freddie and 19 year old Carrie Fisher was also influential not only on me but generations every since. IN some ways Princess Leia was the first really liberated woman in movies that could be accepted by all mankind. So, in this she blew the minds of the whole planet with this part. Very talented lady to pull this off!

We all had met women like Leia in real life but often men didn't treat them very well, especially in the 1950s when I grew up. I had an aunt who was very liberated always like Leia in real life. However, it was very hard for her to be married and stay married because real men wouldn't usually put up with truly liberated and free women then. She was a blonde blue eyed Hollywood actress too and was married in the 1960s to Donald Curtis who is another Hollywood actor in many movies including The Ten Commandments with Charlton Heston.
