Why I'm an Independent

Note: After writing this and thinking about it more I realized one of the reasons I believe all adults in the U.S. and the world sane enough should be armed (at least have weapons in their homes) is because of my life being threatened as a child more than once. I realized then that some people are just crazy. They will cut your head off or anything at times and you need to be able to defend yourselves from them. I'm 6 foot 5 and so most of the time my size keeps people from harming me now. But that wasn't always true because I was once little too. Being the tallest or one of the tallest and strongest in your class only protects you from others in your class at school and that's all.

I find liberals to be very unrealistic, especially ones who haven't ever been to public school and had their lives threatened there or had to fight for their lives in various situations or run just to stay alive. I have seen friends having their heads bashed against walls, knife fights, cars or trucks used as weapons. I have seen all these things happen all around the world. People who think they don't need to protect and defend themselves are foolish and nothing else. If you take weapons away from everyone, criminals will rule the world. To not realize this is to be a fool and to be ignorant. end note.

Many people actually think for themselves and therefore cannot really be categorized. As crazy as Trump seems I think he also fits the category of being an actual independent because he isn't really that loyal to the Republican brand and spent most of his life being a Democrat. Only in old age has he come more to being a Republican.

The first thing I don't agree with with Liberals for example, is about guns.

I grew up in places where everyone had guns. I was given my first gun by my grandmother that my father used from around the time he was 6 years old, and there was an automatic pistol his younger brother Tommy used when he was 4 and there was a small gauge shotgun my Dad's older brother used for hunting from age 9 on. They were taught (just like several hundred years of ancestors, since my ancestors (6 brothers came over from Zurich, Switzerland around 1725 on something like the Mayflower, to hunt with rifles for food for their families and to protect their families with their weapons from a young age. I was no exception so I was given a rifle (a .22 caliber long rifle shooting rifle with pump action that could shoot in quick succession about 17 bullets in the magazine by age 8 (which was very old from the old school way of doing things). But, to be given a gun and bullets to keep in your room was to be honored by your family in knowing they trusted you to defend the family and to protect all you hold near and dear from a young age. This is just what growing up in California and all western states was in the 1950s. Many of these young men were trained on rifles and pistols and then went to Viet Nam to be soldiers there. I was lucky. I didn't have to go and come back in a box or with PTSD wandering the streets the rest of my life.

Also, on top of this I had experiences where on two different occasions with two different older boys than I held a knife to my throat and told me they were going to cut my head off.

Looking back now, this was one of the best experiences for me long term because it trained me to trust absolutely no one ever completely after that experience. I always remember that and just how crazy some people can get. So, after that I trained myself to be capable of killing someone to defend myself on a moments notice. I was between 8 and 11 years old while being tortured for 1/2 hour to an hour by older boys like this. Thinking someone is going to cut your head off for 1/2 hour to an hour is going to change anyone's thinking. It completely changed mine. I even went home and loaded my gun to kill the first two that did this to me the first time. Luckily, in my rage I am also intelligent and called a friend for advice. Because I knew if I killed them both at age 8 or 9 that I would go to jail. My friend on the phone said, "Let someone else kill them! I know who you are talking about and they will both be dead by 20". I realized he was right. So, I unloaded my gun knowing someone else was going to kill these two before they were 20.

People who are liberals often will just faint or cry if someone threatens their lives. NO! YOU have to kill people who threaten you or you are dead. This is just what happens when truly crazy people threaten you. It's either you or them!

And you never know when this is going to happen. So, I learned to be in this state so I'm ready for anything any time. It's a state of mind many people call "The Warrior's Stance". Fathers stay in this stance to protect their wives and children and grandchildren knowing they might have to give up their lives any moment to protect their families.

This is the very first part of why I'm an independent. Because liberals tend to be unrealistic about life and death situations in many different ways.

The 2nd part for me is that my father and Grandfather were Conservative Republicans. Most white people were racist to one degree or another in the 1950s and 1960s or before and my father and grandfather were no exceptions to this very basic rule (in the 1950s) of being white. However, there were different degrees of this. For example, I always thought my father was a real paradox. He might parrot the talk and then go make many friends with black people. In fact, the biggest tip anyone gave him for doing Electrical Work was from a Black man in Watts he said. This really impressed him whereas people who pretended to be so rich like movie stars and directors some times were the hardest to get to ever pay their bills because they were trying so hard to seem richer than they actually were to make their lives economically work.

So, my Dad was a paradox in that he loved to talk to black people and make friends with them because he was an extrovert and also valedictorian of his High School and so very very smart.

Then I went to college and saw how Republicans are rich people who create jobs for poor people who might not survive at all without the rich people creating jobs for them. But, at the same time mentally they held poor people back. This is what started to turn me against Republicans in the first place.

Then I looked at liberals and realized in some ways they were right about Social Security and unemployment compensation and Medicare so people didn't starve to death or die so easily throughout various age groups of society.

But then I realized that without birth control the liberal point of view would just result in the human race dying of overpopulation from western medicine.

So, there has to be a balance in all this.

And the balance has not been reached on earth by a long shot ANYWHERE!

So, my point of view is that Liberals need to stay with their ideas only if those people they are talking about practice birth control. And if they make a mistake they should have access to an abortion.

Conservatives need to help teach all children to be successful not just white kids.

So, in my ideal world everyone uses birth control and so everyone is therefore entitled to food, clothing, and shelter whether they have a job or not.

(this is an ideal world worth fighting for I believe)

Otherwise, where we are headed now billions of people will die sort of like they have died in Syria and Yemen and Iraq.

That would be the future of all countries without birth control instituted.

Because in the end these are countries that are like this primarily because Muslims don't practice birth control (just like Catholics) because it is against their religion. (which in both cases creates overpopulation of the human race which also causes human extinction eventually.

So, my point of view is that both Conservatives and Liberals each only have half the equation and need to think a lot deeper about all problems.

Life is not a catch phrase, it's kind of complicated.

And without enough thought we either go extinct from nukes or go extinct from overpopulation or both.

This is the razor's edge of the human race on which all of us that live traverse.

But now, it is even worse because of Global Warming that Trump pretends not to believe in like many rich people addicted to making a lot of money pretend is true.

So, it is obvious to me now that millions will die from the effects of global warming while Trump is in office at this point.

So, Trump appears to be the universe's answer to not enough people practicing birth control.

In other words "Trump will bring death and chaos without limit upon the earth" just by being Trump.

This likely isn't his intention but if you have any common sense at all you can see it coming already.

So, I prefer world birth control to the "Death Bringer" Trump.

However, nature abhors a vacuum so Trump is bringing death to millions mostly from starvation around the world.

But, this is not his intention but rather the natural disorder a personality like this will naturally create.

Can I prove this?

Of course not.

However, if you have any powers of observation or common sense you can see it coming even now.

This is why so many are sickened or are dying because of Trump being elected president.

So, this is why I'm an independent rather than seeing myself as a Republican or a Democrat.
