How do people survive difficult events in their lives?
People help each other or they often don't survive.
This eventually becomes the basis of all civilizations.
It's true that some people are good and some are bad but most are sort of neutral in that they do good things and bad things in their lives especially growing up when they don't know better than to do some of the bad things.
But, how does civilization continue to exist from the simplest things to the most complex things?
It's people helping people survive whatever comes.
And whether you take a religious approach or a secular approach what they all have in common is helping each other and kindness to each other.
Compassion and Kindness are the only real basis of any civilization at it's core.
