I'm trying to write about Generative AI in a more positive way

I've tried to write about Generative AI in a positive way and failed before now because of how potentially dangerous it is.

I would say it is (at least for this century) about as dangerous as people driving in Cars and Motorcycles and might cost as many lives each year if we are serious about it (maybe 50,000) at least here in the U.S.

And I know this isn't positive but then if you compare Generative AI to Cars and Trucks you would also potentially get about the same amount of positive stuff from it too as we do cars and trucks.

For example, most goods are transported by trucks and most people are transported by cars and Trucks (at least this is true in the Western United States where mass transit doesn't work as well simply because there is too much ground to cover between major cities.

Potentially Generative AI will sort of be like this in that it will revolutionize potentially Medicine, Technology, College, jobs etc.

There really might not be any limit at all to how Generative AI can help mankind do better.

However, the negative side like Deepfake movies that could cause multiple government collapses must be considered in this too.

So, without laws governing how Generative AI will be used worldwide it could just be "The end of Civilization" at least as we have known it in the 20th and 21st Century.

It's sort of like this: If we didn't have laws governing how Cars and Trucks function on the roads, imagine how bad it could be? So, laws governing AI will also be important to our human survival just like with Roads, Cars and Trucks on  roads worldwide now.

And everyone will have to learn these new rules and the police and militaries of the world will have to enforce these new rules regarding Generative AI to keep more humans alive through all of this.

We don't know how all this will turn out but I suspect it will be similar in many ways to how the Internet evolved but also somewhat different than that too.

"You don't know what you know until you know it".

Preparing for all of this might not be completely possible at this point. So, hopefully we can survive all this.
