Yes. It is true that by going all electric that you can help save the Atmosphere from Global Climate change within 300 years. However, it is important to note that no matter if we stopped burning anything right now the weather would change for 300 years to be worse anyhow.
This is not to say that trying to go all electric isn't a good idea to save the air and weather.
However, this 3rd industrial revolution isn't a solution in the long run because of the way the plastics and batteries will pollute all our lands and waters.
So, will we sacrifice our pure lands and waters in order to stop global Warming. This doesn't make good sense!
Also, here in California if you are asking people to use ONLY electricity and not natural gas this is ridiculous too. Why?
Because most of the power in California is generated by Natural Gas and not wind or solar or Geothermal. So, making everyone change to electricity is just expensive for most people because we are using natural gas to generate steam to generate electricity. So, that is ridiculous too.
People don't want to face the problems we are creating trying to stop global Warming because the problems we are creating by poisoning our water and soils so we can't grow food maybe are equally as bad or possibly worse than Global Climate changes to begin with.
So, what is the solution?
One potential solution could be Fusion Generators where every car or home would have it's own fusion generator. This could potentially be a solution as long as we found a way to protect people from the Earth turning into a Sun by Accident!
