My wife and I watched "Leave the world Behind"(2023) together a few weeks ago I believe when it first came out
I think it is an important movie for people to see simply because I have experienced myself with my wife the No cell phone signals, no wifi, and even no cable TV for about a week at a time during the 15 Atmospheric Rivers that hit in our area of California last year which caused a lot of flooding. At the time, my wife had just had a hip replacement and there was no heat in the house either during this time and the temperature during this time went down to 58 degrees inside the house. Of course I have a fireplace in the living room which ONLY helps if you were sitting on the hearth getting warm. So, what I'm saying here is even if it is just the weather you need to prepare at the very least for no cell service, no wifi and no cable TV at the very least and make sure you and your family or room mates can cope with this when it happens.
Another movie my wife and I watched which is well done is "Love and Monsters"(2020) which is a very interesting movie that has a 94% rating from Rotten Tomatoes. This is a somewhat "FEEL GOOD" movie that sort of constructively deals with an apocalyptic situation here on earth. So, I would recommend this movie too if you are into this sort of thing.
