It would be too quick for anyone to even know they were dying. They would be in the kitchen and then the toaster or microwave or stove would have a lightning bolt out of it from the 100 megaton bomb 100 miles up in space.
Then after everyone died nothing electrical in the U.S. would ever work again that was above 10 feet underground (which is why they have places like Colorado Springs) (the Air Force Does) to survive this kind of nuclear attack and take out whoever did it permanently worldwide.
So, something like this is basically likely the end of civilization on whatever side of the planet this happens on and then whatever country did this would also get nuked in various ways by the U.S. too.
So, all this would be "THE END OF CIVILIZATION FOR 4000 YEARS OR MORE LIKELY".
THE ELECTROMAGNETIC PULSE (JUST ONE) WOULD END CIVILIZATION IN ANY COUNTRY THIS HIT.
COULD I IMAGINE TRUMP DOING THIS TO IRAN?
UNFORTUNATELY YES.
BUT, I THINK THE WORLD WOULDN'T ALLOW THIS TO STAND FOR A VARIETY OF REASONS. BUT, I'M NOT SURE ENTIRELY WHAT WOULD HAPPEN NEXT!
