end quotes:
so imagine 3,100 miles on the same time zone with no daylight saving time?
this is China which is likely much worse than whatever permanent daylight savings time is going to do to us across
begin quote:
Greatest distance between any two mainland points in the contiguous 48 states: 2,892 miles (4,654 km), from Point Arena, California, to West Quoddy Head, Maine.
So, it's hard to say really but imagine in China that it's dark at 9 am most of the year some places. However, then you have Alaska where the sun mostly never sets during the summer except for a few minutes too .
And then in the winter it never rises for more than a few minutes too a lot of places too. that would be really different if you didn't grow up in that kind of environment.
So, finding a way that works might be hard wherever you live on earth trying to make things work for everyone there in a big country like China or the U.S. too.
