Recently, I went to Death Valley National Park with my son and stayed in Stovepipe Wells, then we drove (for the first time for me) South on Nevada Hiway 95 towards Las Vegas. This is the closest you can come to Area 51 without having problems if you aren't authorized government personnel. Many people live near by in Pahrump, Nevada and all the little towns all the way towards Las Vegas, Nevada who are interested in E.T.s or UFOs. I had never ever in my whole 62 years been by Area 51 before and found the whole place as an intuitive to be sort of a nightmare. I wasn't actually ever interested in returning there physically ever again. I found those probably 500 square miles or more where nukes were first tested all the way to Area 51 and further to the east as an intuitive to be the most highly militarily secured facilities likely on earth. In fact, almost everything to the east of 95 is government top secret areas that no one is allowed in and if you are stupid enough to go in there (any of those places) you simply will never be heard from ever again (no questions asked). So, this is my thought.
If you want to have a more positive UFO kind of experience that is much more likely in the vicinity of Mt. Shasta than Area 51. Around area 51 (it is my sense) that there are potentially thousands of people being held captive, who by accident or on purpose walked, drove or flew into government facilities areas, and now they will stay in permanent captivity without a trial until they die. In its own way this is even worse than Guantanamo Bay in Cuba. Because at least we know about Guantanamo. The people who try to explore places like Area 51 are likely never seen or heard of again. It is my feeling that earlier (as in the 1940s) people just likely were shot and buried in shallow graves in the sand of the desert during world war II and that makes sense. But I think starting in the 1950s I don't think people were usually just shot. (By the way I don't have any proof at all) and the only reason I'm writing about this is that please don't harm your relatives and friends by disappearing this way and living out a completely miserable life in captivity somewhere likely in Nevada until you die.
However, I can vouch for many UFO experiences of various kinds between the 1950s until the present in the Mt. Shasta vicinity. The reason I think UFOs come here a lot is that the Mountain tends to enhance psychic abilities.
A good friend, Charles Moore, we called him "Father Charlie" who at one time was Distict Attorney of Santa Cruz County and eventually became a Jesuit Priest, used to tell us that he thought that the volcano of Mt. Shasta was a very special one that for some reason really enhanced people's spiritual ability. I climbed the Mountain one day with Father Charlie and Peter Caddy from Scotland who started Findhorn one day, and you can bet that was a very interesting experience.
So I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you just want to die or disappear completely from the face fo the earth never to be seen ever again, then by all means go to area 51. But mostly that path is sort of like committing suicide as far as all your friends and relatives are concerned because you will simply become a permanent "Missing person". However, if you want to have a really meaningful experience with UFOs you might just want to spend some time in the Mt. Shasta Area. Some of the main power points that I have spent a lot of time at are Castle Lake (at 6000 feet) (you can see mt. Shasta on a clear day while swimming or kayaking or walking on the ice(if it's safe enough) depending upon the time of year. I have even skied across the lake in January and February on many many years. Another equally good place to go is Panther Meadows, also Squaw Valley(a long hike) but Panther you can drive to it just to the right of Everette memorial hiway just before the paved road ends. It is several miles long.
Or, if you are really ambitious you could climb up to Horse Camp Sierra Club Lodge (which is a rescue and emergency shelter lodge for climbers so they don't freeze to death or die of their injuries while climbing so much. It is at tree line (where trees stop growing). The easiest trail is from Bunny Flats to the left of Everette Memorial hiway (a ways after upper sand flats Road) you can't miss it because there are rest rooms there in the parking lot. And if you are really really ambitious you can climb all 14,161 feet of Mt. Shasta like I did in August 1970. There are also many religions and bookstores and interesting people to meet who live in the area. You can usually meet some of them if you go to places like the bookstores and Crystal shops. There are also spiritual teachers that come through the area as well as people who talk about ufos and their experiences in this area as well. So, If you really want to have positive UFO experiences you won't find them in Area 51. This is certain.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
