a political backlash against the rising
wealth of the rich."[4)
Basically, we are seeing this begin to manifest in candidates like Trump and Sanders. However, if neither of them succeed in their quest to be president it is very likely that the masses eventually if they are frustrated enough at every turn and manifest something as ugly as the French Revolution here in the U.S.
However, I don't think anything this extreme is going to happen at all or at least very soon because I think our system of governance will allow enough changes to take place to begin to change the world in ways that the lower 80% of people in the U.S. (and after that the world) will be better able to survive.
However, the alternative is always there of the middle Class and poor of the U.S. and the world having one or more French revolutions like happened which took the lives of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette and most of the aristocracy of France in the late 1700s.
However, because there are more legal rights here than in France in the late 1700s, changes will likely be made by everyone so thousands or millions of people don't have to die like that in this century.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
