The biggest reason likely will surprise you. The primary reason is businesses are taxed at higher rates here than in almost ANY other country on earth.
The second reason is that they can pay workers much less in other countries.
The third reason is the U.S. tough liability laws. In other words if someone dies from unsafe machinery here people might sue that factory and win millions of dollars in wrongful death suits.
In other countries people are going to die from that machinery and just keep dying from that machinery because they have no rights at all.
