So, this likely means people came to north America from more than one direction at different times. So, the Bering sea group of Aleuts who are still over as far as Lake Baikal in Siberia were not the only ones who came to America. My wife was saying there was some evidence always that the group in Florida were from a different gene pool than those who came over the Bering Strait too. This clinches it.
My thought is that maybe they came over from Spain, Portugal or some Mediterranean area in North Africa at some point.
