Why?
Because everyone who didn't have white male privilege when I grew up often is dead or insane now.
What does that mean?
It means if you weren't white you often didn't survive to 20 or 30 if you were a child in the 1950s.
However, if you were white and you survived apologizing for this I think is stupid.
Because as a white person born in the 20th or 21st century you didn't set up these rules. They were made in Europe and the U.S. during the last 1000 or 2000 years. So, feeling guilty that your ancestors created these rules is stupid.
Will there ever be equality?
I'm not sure about this.
What is more likely to happen is all white people will interbreed with other races and there will be no more white people at all because almost every other race outnumbers Caucasians.
So, within 200 years there likely won't be anymore just white people left alive here on earth.
So, apologizing for white privilege is stupid.
My point of view is survive if you can here on earth because most people don't even make it to 20 or 30 of any race.
This is the reality.
So, if you survive past 30 you should be proud of yourself, your relatives, your communities and your cities, states and countries because just having survived past age 30 you are the exception and not the rule.
