Since Trump is the first NON-President:

in that he is only a profiteer and liar one thing I have noticed is that the states individually are becoming more and more like their own countries since (no one is minding the store in the Federal Government) because Trump is too busy getting bribes and making money while  being supposedly president.

Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Likely it's both. It's good for states like New York and California and Texas and maybe Alaska that are perfectly capable of being individual countries on their own without the United States but for other states likely it is bad not only for the states but also for the people living in those states. So, it all depends likely on the wealth of the individual states and what kind of disasters (like Tornadoes or fires or Earthquakes or Hurricanes they have) since Trump demonstrates he is not going to pay disaster survivors anywhere any money at all for what happened to them.

So, Trump's Attitude is: "Well. You can all go die now. Sorry your life and property ended but tough luck!"

This is the way Trump is handling disasters: "I didn't do it and therefore I'm sorry but your life is over!"
