Why I like Tibetan Buddhism

Buddhism tends to stabilize people and cultures much like the other major religions of the world (at least until the major religions of the world come into conflict with each other).

But, in Tibetan Buddhism you have to Combine the principles of Buddhism (Which is basically Compassion for all life in all time and space with Himalayan Shamanism (which is about animism a lot).

Animism is the basis of all ancient religions before Cities and farms were created. I still find Animism maybe one of the most useful principles of life as an intuitive. Because as an intuitive all animate and inanimate things in the universe are alive and have consciousness. When I fully realized this it changed me a lot. Because any living thing or animate or inanimate object will often communicate (sometimes without warning) in any given moment. Usually, it is to have me help them in some way or to protect me from any harm from any being or inanimate object in the universe from any time or space or place.

For example, once I had the "Rock People first talk to me in the early 1980s because of my associated with Charlie Thom a Karuk Medicine man I asked him if he talked to the "Rock People" and he told me that his tribe had communicated with the "Rock People" for thousands of years. I felt sort of relieved because I had no reference point for what was happening to me in western religious culture.

But, since then I learned that all metals are "Rock People"too like planes and cars and I have found you can communicate with them and ask them what is going to happen.

So, before I get on any commercial or other plane I ask the plane if it is going to crash and it will tell me because like Trees, all rocks and metals experience the past, present and future all the time. Trees and rocks are related in perceiving reality in this way.

Note: The rock people say this is way too simplistic and think maybe this isn't as useful as I want it to be in describing them. However, I'm a  human being that might live plus or minus 100 years or so in that Rocks are alive millions or billions of years so compared to them we are like Flowers or Blades of grass that they love for a moment of beauty and then we are often gone.

So, how can I compare myself to a mountain or a Redwood 5000 years old?

All I can really do is to love them and be happy to know such wonderful amazing millions or billions of year old beings who can communicate with me if they think it important.

By God's Grace
