I was thinking about Google Glass just now. If you were wearing it while walking most people eventually are going to fall down or be injured from being distracted too much. I could see listening to something like SIRI with an Iphone through earphones with a built in mike and talking back and forth with Siri verbally and maybe still walking along the street without getting injured and possibly even jogging doing that with earphones. But, actually trying to interface with another visual reality while driving a car, a bike, a motorcycle, or a car or truck seems kind of like inviting a physical disaster to happen in your life.
However, I suppose if you are home or on a park bench watching a movie or studying, Google Glass might be useful rather than just plain dangerous. Hopefully, people using Google Glass will also have enough common sense to stay alive and not get maimed while wearing one.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
