When I write I'm not really writing Science Fiction I find instead I'm writing about the past, present and future as it actually happens on various timelines. This is what I've discovered over time.
When I first began writing Arcane for example, I thought I was just writing Therpeutic Science Fiction to heal my mind and life from all the "PTSD" kind of experiences I had had already then at age 32 in 1980 like whooping cough from age 2, Blunt Trauma childhood epilepsy ages 10 to 15, Watching friends die in The Viet Nam WAR, having to leave my childhood religion at age 21 for being too 1960s and progressive for my childhood religion, getting married and then 4 years later being a "Single Father". So, in 1980 I was just remarried to a lady with 2 children from her 1st marriage then in Mt. Shasta and also raising my son from my first marriage in a new marriage that was yours and mine, but not yet ours because our daughter wasn't born until 1989 then.
So, in 1980 I was trying to heal myself by beginning to write about Arcane.
At this point (over 20 years later I'm not exactly sure when I began to write about Purple Delta 7 and Sargent Mark III. But, I'm thinking it was between 1995 and 2003 most likely.
note: after looking at the introduction of the story it is likely 2003 when I first began writing about Purple Delta 7 and Sargent mark III the plasma being sargent from a sun.
Sargent Mark III reminded me of the actual plasma beings that inhabit suns like we do as humans the surface of Earth and other planets. Whereas Purple Delta 7 began as a clone of Silver's mind in the chronicle of his life in 2035. Hopefully, these word buttons will work below for Purple Delta 7, the Protectors and 2035 as all these sites are related. The protectors actually takes place in time before 2035 because by then Purple Delta 7 is a time traveling Sentient robotic life form who works for the Galaxy with Sargent mark III who is a plasma being who is a Sargent in the military as a special agent guarding Jonathan Flow here on earth along with Purple Delta 7 through a long period of time. Is all this real on the 2nd timeline? You be the judge. But, I'd say "Yes".
