A near death experience is a normal route to a powerful personal experience with God

likely for 100,000 years or more.

I was thinking about this today. When they say: "God has Called you!", this is often what they mean.

What this means is that if you hadn't turned to God you would already be dead. So, the way I look at it is you did die and you reincarnated in a God Form with God living in your body. You aren't the same person anymore because you have been  "Born Again".

This makes some of us a Shaman too.

The description of what this means in an early 1970s Cultural Anthropology class at Palomar College in San Diego County went something like this:

"When someone psychologically dies but somehow their body still lives, often that person becomes a shaman who lives in both the world of the living and the world of the dead."

I was speaking to a friend of mine lately and I spoke about a mutual friend who passed away in 2006 who was the brother of a girlfriend of mine in the 1960s from church that I met at age 6 in my church.

We had been lifelong friends and he was a High School Teacher in Los Angeles. But, he was also a very spiritual person like myself and had a master's degree in Psychology as well as a teaching credential.

I guess what had happened was that he had passed away alone in his home in the San Fernando Valley and so he came to me to tell me that he was dead. I heard him but didn't want to believe that my friend was dead. So, it wasn't that I didn't hear his spirit talking to me, it was I didn't want my friend to be dead and so I couldn't process him being dead because it was completely unexpected out of the blue because he wasn't ill. It likely was a sudden heart attack or stroke that he had died from.

But, I have a friend who is now in her 90s that knew he had passed away for sure and she called me and said, "I think Richard, our friend, has passed away."

I said I thought she was wrong but I called all 7 of his phones in his cars and in his home. But, 24 hours later when I had received no return call or messages I knew something must be wrong so I called his sister who lives in Texas now that I also grew up with in church. She had the police go to his home and sure enough he had passed away in bed.

So, I guess what I'm saying here mostly is that near death experiences are a normal route to God experiences.

You might never have believed in God but now in order to stay alive you have no choice but to believe in God because you realize that you either need now to believe in God or you are going to die.

This was my experience too from ages 10 to 15 when I knew that I would die unless God saved me.

So, I invoked God into my body and he saved me and completely changed my life forever.

So, if you want to live often this is the ONLY way to stay alive.
