Omar never intended by her statements to be inflammatory or to discriminate in any way against Jewish people. So, this resolution that Omar also voted for bans discrimination against Jewish people and also Muslim people.
The vote was 407-23 to pass the measure in the House. All Democrats in the House voted for the measure and all but 23 Republicans voted for this measure also.
