Tsunami: 8.9 Earthquake near Japan

15 foot high Tsunami hits Japan. It is soon going to hit Russia, Taiwan, China, Guam, Philipinnes.  A Two Meter high Tsunami will hit Hawaiian Islands. The Tsunami moves at about 800 kilometers per hour in all directions and radiates out in all directions. The problem is that a tsunami is not just a wave the whole ocean raises from two meters to 15 feet and comes ashore. If you are anywhere in the Pacific region be sure you are above 50 feet high to be sure. Parts of Japan are devastated. It says there is no power in Tokyo Japan presently.

This tsunami will also hit the Pacific Coast of California, Oregon, and Washington, Canada and Alaska and Mexico, Central and South America and Australia and New Zealand etc.

Later  1:42 am Pacific time in California on 3-11-11:

Japan is presently warning it's people of up to 6 meter tall Tsunamis hitting ALL parts of the Japanese Coast.  Refineries are on fire many houses and cars have been moved miles, many people missing, likely thousands of people dead already just in Japan. Largest earthquake to hit Japan in 140 years. The largest ever recorded in modern times in Japan.
A 6 meter tall tsunami is 19.685 feet high or approximately 20 feet high. This is in addition to any natural surf which would have to be added to this height. See following internet buttons from Sendai, Japan:

  • end quote.
A ten meter high Tsunami is 32.808+ feet or approximately 34 feet high.

This is the 7th worst earthquake in recorded human history.

More tsunami waves possible because of ongoing aftershocks.
The people initially hit by 6 to 7 meter high tsunamis had no warning of tsunami because it hit within 10 to 15 minutes after 8.9 quake hit. Thousands of lives expected lost already.

This is the 5th strongest quake on earth since 1900.
