together again singing
I wrote this song during the Social revolution of the 1960s and 1970s. It was reminding us of how we all must become Christs like Jesus:
(Which was what i was taught in the I AM growing up in the Saint Germain Foundation).
A large group of what I now call California Cosmics or (long hairs) of that time who were college students with Bachelors degrees or high degrees like masters or PHDs.
We thought advanced thoughts and lived advanced lives. And some lived and some died in the excesses of Viet Nam, College, fast cars, halucinogenics etc.
Many truly wonderful people I saw die or go crazy back then. Luckily, I have always been extremely practical as a person, just like my father and grandfather and great Grandfather who was Captain David Hartzell in the northern Army during the Civil War. After the Civil war he returned to Kansas where he opened a drug store there which was supplied by his native american friends. He paid them to gather herbs to heal people.
David Hartzell lived to be 105 years old in Kansas and ran his drug store until 1925 after beginning it in the 1870s. He passed away around 1945.
NOte: The flag on the hat I'm wearing is a "Santa Barbara Yacht Club" hat given to me before my father in law passed away in 2008. He often took us there on Easter when we drove down from the SF Bay area.
However, by the time I met my father in law who went to Stanford with JFK and knew him
and other famous people and who knew Ronald Reagan personally, he wasn't sailing his Concordia (which was the most desired wooden yacht from the 1950s through the 1980s when people all went with fiber glass boats because of less costly maintainance. A Concordia was I think around 45 feet yacht and he did the transpack race to Hawaii in it around the early 1960s my wife (his daughter said).
The flag on the mantle was given to my wife by the Seabees when he passed away in 2008 because her father was a Navy Seabee Lieutenant during World War II and built the big airport in Iceland and he also built the airport on Tinian Island where the Enola Gay landed.
He was also well remembered as the supply officer for 6 Naval Battalions during World war II.
