I discovered these glasses at Walgreens in Portland on Burnside Avenue when I was staying at the Hotel Deluxe for easy proximity to the Moody Blues Concert last Friday night at the Arlene Snitzer Concert hall there in Downtown Portland. At first I bought a pair on a lark to see if they were any good. I got a 2 power magnifying lense and found there are lenses up to 6 power for magnification available. Then built into where the hinges are are little lights you can turn on. I found them incredibly effective for when you are in a hotel room and have to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and don't want to wake up your spouse or significant other. So, you just put your glasses on turn one or both lights on and you have about the same light as you would with your iphone or Android or Windows phone only it is hands free so very nice so you have your hands to keep you from stumbling and falling down on shoes or clothes items or chairs etc. in the dark on your way to the bathroom. Because you can direct your gaze away from your friend there they stay asleep and happy because of the lighted specs.
