Today I was getting sort of stir crazy from being house bound mostly for the past week while I'm recovering from everything.
So, I just decided to drive my motorhome into town and get some new Michellin tires for it (5 tires including spare. Around 2002 we bought a land yacht or Leisure Van made in Canada. But because of elders in our families getting sick and passing on one by one we really only put 13,000 miles on our Motor home since 2002.
However, I realized I can trailer my motorcycle behind it and drive wherever I want to much less expensively than staying in a hotel every night. So, trips of up to 2 weeks are more practical this way. And also if my wife and I want some luxury for a night we just rent a motel room with a refrigerator and microwave oven.
So, for around 1200 dollars I can get 5 Michellin tires installed and balanced and a front end alignment while I'm also at it.
Now I need to get the windshield replaced which might be a little harder we found out today.
So, what have I learned the last two days?
I have enough energy to walk about 5 minutes without collapsing. However, I can also drive 20 to 30 minutes and be okay as long as I stop and rest along the way while conducting business.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
