Bob Corker was asked in an interview early Thursday whether the
American people should expect that the intensifying drama surrounding the
expected Thursday vote in the House on the latest version of
legislation to supplant President Barack Obama’s landmark Affordable
Care Act would lead swiftly to that same bill’s being put before the Senate for an up-or-down vote?
‘No. Zero chance.’
Ironic perhaps, that, given that House Republicans had tweet-taunted then–Speaker Nancy Pelosi on just that score back in 2010:
