The Castle lake road is closed to the locked Gate just above where some people still live and Everitt Memorial Highway is closed just past Macbride Springs Campground with a locked gate there. Likely if you wish you probably can walk up the road but you can't drive anything past there. The same is true of the Castle Lake Road too.
I heard from a friend that they plan to open Everitt Memorial Highway up to Bunny flats Thursday but with all this snow coming down in feet not inches above 5500 feet all over "I'll believe it when I see it".
