Though I had expected Cloak and dagger stuff from the previews I wasn't prepared for a terrorist movie. But if you combine Travolta's "Swordfish" with James Bond and various "shoot em up" movies on a slightly smaller budget, you get a very satisfying shoot em up with terrorists and love and everything else like could only happen in Paris, Europe, the Middle East or a south Asian Country.
If this movie had taken place in the U.S. it wouldn't be believable for a variety of reasons. But having been to Paris I could see something like this actually happening. Because of the porous nature of all European borders something like this could actually happen there. The way Europe is so closely connected by land and smaller bodies of water to Africa and Asia there is no realistic way to keep terrorists out of Europe the way there is with the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans between most Terrorists and North America.
This movie had terrorists, spies, shoot em ups and love. It was a well rounded movie that was both entertaining, funny and had an element of realism. However, Wax(Travolta) sort of had the over the top adrenaline junky going in his charactor to the max. You could only imagine two careers for him, either this or prison or dead. So, Wax was definitely an interesting character to watch.

Valentine's Day: The Movie
All the actors in this movie turned in good performances but the ones that stood out were Ashton Kutcher and George Lopez. Watching them you really thought they were real friends and had quite a bond as buddies which might be true off screen as well as on. I don't know. Jessica Biel's performance as a woman who hates Valentine's day is especially funny. And pairing the anti-valentine's day party in the same restaurant and room as an East Indian wedding I thought was pretty funny as well. All the actors and actresses contributed to making one feel that all the major reactions to Valentine's Day worldwide had been covered. So everyone, I believe, walked away with a happy, funny but more realistic view of Valentine's day. Yes. It was Hollywood at it's funny best but the humor actually made sense and people could appreciate the thoughtfulness of the movie. So I guess I enjoyed it.
Of Kids, Dogs and Plants
I think this way of thinking comes from being a parent since 1974(1973 if you include wife's pregnancy). So now my kids are 35, 20, and 13, with two stepkids 36 and 38 and two god daughters that we helped or are helping through college 24 and 29.
So, I guess the basic premise is that you don't give up on anyone or anything that is in your sphere of influence. It sort of starts with your girlfriend(if you are like me) and then your wife and child, and then their friends, and then all your pets, and then if you have a house and yard the pets, the trees, the plants etc. Until as you age all of life in the world is your concern. You do what you can to help everyone that it is practical to help. A person like this we call a real human being.
The dynamic that I didn't really fully understand much in my early 20s was that everyone and everything takes care of each other. I finally got this fully in my 30s and started experiencing fully "What goes around comes around". I felt like I was giving without getting very much in my 20s but by my 30s I started to realize all my sacrifices were beginning to pay off. However, my sacrifices were not financial to my point of view. It simply meant that I took care of living beings around me, family, friends, strangers in distress that were safe enough to help etc.
But doing this I started to notice began paying off for me starting around my early 30s. From 32 to 37 is one of my favorite period of my life. I had health, a family, new wife, son from first wife, and two step kids. And then we bought 2 1/2 acres on Mt. Shasta and sort of lived a Wilderness family experience for a few years while home schooling our kids and living in an A-Frame I build that could shed the up to 7 feet of snow that fell at one time in that area of the mountain. I think living that wilderness family experience for 5 years gave me the strength to put up with the rest of my life afterwards and before. Don't underestimate the life giving and health giving aspects of actually "Living your Dreams" even if those dreams only last 5 years. So at the end of all this when we spent 4 months in India and Nepal and two weeks in Thailand I had lived all my dreams and didn't know what to do with myself then other than just knuckle down and raise my kids which were either teenagers or almost by then in 1986. So we moved to the California Coast and bought a business and taught all our kids the business so they would know how the business world works too. In these days of "no jobs" including your kids in your business might be the best thing you ever do for them. If they can have their own business when there are no jobs they have a livelihood. Think about it.
So, today I went out to mow down the wild grasses in the back yard. I sort of like the wilderness back yard that harkens to the original lay of the land. And so in the winter I can watch at least my backyard look more like the surrounding forests and meadows near the ocean. We had some really bad storms this year and lost power for around a week total so far this year. However, I have a small motor home that has a built in Onan generator that I can plug my refrigerator into. I find it can run the refrigerator, my 52 inch wide screen tv, my cable DVR, my computers and modem and router and printer and a few electric lights even if there is no power coming into the house from the street. It saves us around 400 to 500 dollars in perished food every time this happens. just remember you have to completely separate all the things coming from the generator from household current because if you don't it could kill not only your generator but all your appliances. The way I accomplish this is to simply run a 100 foot electrical extension cord through my garage up into my kitchen. Then I unplug my refrigerator and plug it into a surge protector strip attached to the 100 foot cord that is attached to my motor home Onan generator. Then I plug in other shorter cords to my TV, DVR, Cable modem and router, lights etc. Since my Onan runs off the large gas tank in my motor home that also runs the engine I could theoretically run the generator for many days without running out of gas if I have a full tank in my motor home to begin with. So, I keep my gas tank filled in my motor home especially during the winter because of this and because there is less moisture condensation in a large gas tank during the winter if you keep it full to the brim.
So, even though I have digressed, taking care of people you find in order to do that you have to take care of yourself too. This has always been good for me for I have always have had a tendency not to care about whether I lived or died all my life. So this also has kept me alive as well. I think the genetic predisposition to perceive oneself as a soldier and as expendable has been bred in most men. Men that aren't that way mostly have been genetically eliminated from the gene pool over thousands of years one way or the other. So, I think that quality of being willing to die for a good cause protects civilization in every way even though as an intelligent person I consider being this way as just crazy and "terminal macho" as in "Being so full of it you wind up dying".
So, it is important to give oneself reasons to stay alive like getting married and having kids just so you don't just accidentally off yourself during your world adventures. This can help a lot.
What actually got me to write this article was that I began thinking this morning as I used the weed eater to clear the path through my backyard to the other side of my house. Since my house is L shaped (excluding the garage) there are actually two backyards one on either side of the top of the L, a large one to the right of the L and a smaller one to the left. To the right of the L we have a Hot tub (Spa) and a 17 foot in diameter trampoline for my 13 year old daughter(even though I use it too). However, she likes to run in circles on the trampoline as low impact excercise while listening to her Ipod. Sometimes she will run for 40 minutes or more and be totally blissed out by this experience. She has a cast iron stomach like her Mom who was a heavy weather sailor with her parents growing up in Southern California. She liked nothing better than to sail in a storm.
However, since I started to get seasick while sailing in Southern California when I was around 34 I prefer not to sail anymore because I almost always get sick and have to throw up at least once. However, often after I do an Elvis throw up(going to the leeward side of the boat so I don't hit anyone with it). Sometimes I'm so good at it that no one even notices I just threw up.
So, anyway the last time I had this experience it was to put my mother's ashes next to where John Denver's plane crashed into the ocean(she loved John Denver) when we rented a large sailboat for this purpose and most of the family joined us for this event.
(As you can see I'm having a terrible time staying on track and task this morning. Maybe it's because it is Valentine's day and the energy is sort of spaced out from that all over). Anyway, Maybe I'll try later. Have a good day! Happy Valentine's Day!

The United States of Snow
http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5g1jo1gT0843vxrD4oRUd1Ufm4F5AD9DQVVBO0
The only state it DIDN'T snow in today, Feb 12th 2010 was Hawaii. This just has to be some kind of record when all the lower 48 states and Alaska all get snow the same day, even Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana.
Maybe it's time to watch "The Day After Tomorrow" on DVD again.

Creators: The Species
Whether you consider what I'm going to say now a "Science Fiction Construct" or whether you are intuitive like me and just realize I'm speaking from real experiences is okay with me. Because in the end, "Why should any of us believe in anything we haven't directly experienced anyway?" This is why I'm perfectly comfortable whichever way you view this.
I was thinking about Creators(I have written about them in Memories, my online book and some of the short story form sequels at:
http://dragonofcompassion.com/
If you click on the parts 1 through 11 it is there.
Also, if you click on: His Oneness there it talks about the leader of our Galaxy that I call "The Galactic Sentience". I used this name because we are referring to a relatively immortal being who has already lived millions of years and is capable of living Billions likely who is the grandson of the Creator and his wife who originally created the Milky Way Galaxy as a way to feed their kids and progeny on into the future. For most people this kind of being might be considered a God similar to one in the Greek Pantheon of Gods. However, The Galactic Sentience doesn't consider himself to be a God. However, with over 1,000,000 IQ or above a human would consider such a being a God very likely as did the ancient Greeks and Romans who knew some of them.
Today, I was thinking about how Creators keep ownership of the Galaxy their family creates. I realized this pretty much is not violated by other creators who created other galaxies. Just like your home is considered your home and what goes on there is your business in most of the world, each galaxy is considered the home of the family of Creators that actually created it.
When I was young my mother prayed to one of the "Elohim" who created the solar system. His name was Hercules and in the church she grew up in he was Elohim of the Blue Ray which had to do with beginning new eras for mankind on earth. She prayed to him in regard to me so I would be physically strong and have good health. So I grew to 6 feet 4 1/2 inches in height and when I was in my 20 could press 1000 pounds just using my legs. So I had very strong legs as a young man. I often picked up the front end of my VW bug while in college and turn it 180 degrees or 45 degrees if I was stuck in mud or snow and I found though I couldn't pick up the rear end of my VW bug I could bounce it out of being stuck in the snow. So, my mother believed the Elohim Hercules that she believed help build the solar system. So, the builders of the solar system were supposed to be the "7 builders of creation" or the "Seven Elohim", Elohim being and ancient Hebrew plural noun for God that is still used Today.
In fact Jesus literally said on the cross, "Eloi Eloi Lamasabacthani!" which can be translated two ways, either "My God My God(Eloi) How you have glorified me!" or to me the less useful translation which is, "My God My God why have you forsaken me?" However, the second translation is not a direct one and comes through several translations and languages. The direct translation is the first.
So, my first conscious experience of communicating with a Creator happened on Interstate 5 near Redding somewhere out in the sticks heading north toward Mt. Shasta. I was within 50 miles of Redding heading north.
I had a question as to how the Galaxy was created and this being started speaking with me. I was aware the being was not on earth but in the stars. Actually, driving a car, playing a guitar with simple chords or walking in the outdoors facilitates the right set of events for me to have this kind of conscious waking experience. So, as the being explained to me how the galaxy was created and who created it I felt like I was speaking to a family member because there was that sort of intimacy like if you were talking to a best friend or brother, sister or mother or father. I sensed I was talking to a male being who had authority. I knew it was a very intelligent or evolved being but didn't think I was talking to God himself as that is a different experience. Rather I was talking to a grandfatherly kind of person or being that wanted to make sure I knew how the Universe was created. This took place in the early 1980s when I still lived on Mt. Shasta on my 2 1/2 acres of land on Mt. Shasta with my family.
So, now 30 years later I now see Creators as having created all Galaxies. He told me that they created antimatter Galaxies as well. I wasn't able to completely fathom what he said in regard to antimatter universes. But the basic idea was that the matter universe and the antimatter universe are polar complements to each other and tend to occupy the same space. So, what I would imagine is that in our polar complement antimatter universe there would be antimatter or black holes where we have stars and constellations and where we have a big black hole at the center of our galaxy that hold the whole thing together in the matter galaxy we live in, the antimatter galaxy likely has a galaxy like thing there instead to hold the Black hole antimatter thing the size of our galaxy which would be there.
He said that creators feed on the energy moving from one state to another. They don't need to breathe or drink water or eat food but energy is food to them since they are energy based. I got the feeling I was talking to a star or constellation or something of that size. If you can imagine what would need to create a galaxy to feed it is pretty big. But I find it amazing they can also take incarnation as humans. Only they might be 1000 or 1,000,000 humans at a time because they have the energy and consciousness to do that sort of thing. Later this being told me that I was an incarnation of the being(s) that originally created the Galaxy. This made complete sense to me because of what my mother told me as she had prayed to Elohim Hercules for health and strength while she was pregnant with me. So I continue to write of them so others can better understand these Creator beings.

Ye Are Gods
There are several things my parents believed when they were alive that stuck with me in a philosophical sense throughout my life. In the Bible, I believe there are several quotes my parents loved. Some of these purported to be uttered by Jesus were: "Ye Are Gods" and "Even greater things than these shall ye do" along with God's name that came from Moses, "I am That I am".
As I grew older I put all theses ideas together with: "We are all made in God's image" and wondered what that meant. I have finally been able to make sense of the whole thing in relation to all beings in the universe by realizing that God's image is not physical it is perceptual. I suppose it could be both. However, it works for all beings in the universe in our own galaxy and beyond if it is primarily perceptual: "Every being that has consciousness is a potential and actual microcosmic God". So, from this point of view there are trillions and trillions of microcosmic God beings just here on Earth. I find this oddly comforting to be surrounded at all times with trillions and trillions of microcosmic Gods.

No Health Care?
It appears at least for now that once again the people of the United States have lost out to the bribes paid (directly and indirectly) to kill the healthcare bill by Insurance companies and the healthcare industry. It appears that once again the 18% favorability rating of Congress is once again to high for both parties. It appears that the favorability rating should be closer to zero. (As in a dysfunctional government). It appears that it doesn't matter what party is in power the people have lost their government to bribes from corporations and general gridlock. It appears like the U.S. may be over as a once great power possibly permanently.
However, at least in regard to healthcare I would like to offer a different point of view:
Question: Did Americans have healthcare (at all?) during the founding of America. The answer at best is: it was minimal to nothing or it was Native American herbal remedy based.
When I took anthropology courses in college the idea of survival of the fittest and natural selection come to mind. To my way of thinking No Health care simply raises the bar in regard to strength and fitness of all kinds for everyone who survives. In fact, it strengthens the gene pool of our future citizens if there is a minimal amount of healthcare available.
Though this may not seem like a compassionate point of view it is my thesis that we as an American race, a melting pot of the world will only become tougher, stronger, more resilient, better fighters etc. in the world arena. We will become only more competitive without healthcare.
Unfortunately, we are not only losing healthcare for the masses we are also losing our form of government as it is taken away from us by corporations and other special interest groups. This we may not survive as a people.

A 3.8 in Chicago?
The 3.8 earthquake that hit 41 miles from Chicago around 4 am seemed to shake people up pretty good there. But like someone said, "California has a 3.8 about every week so people there are "used?" to them". I have lived in California all my life and I don't think anyone really gets used to them. It's just something you deal with living in California.
The worst earthquake I rode out(as in bucking bronco) was the:
Begin quotes from wikipedia:
The 1971 San Fernando earthquake (also known as Sylmar earthquake) struck the San Fernando Valley near Sylmar at 6:00:55 a.m. PST on February 9, 1971, with a magnitude of 6.6.[1]
The quake claimed 65 lives and caused more than half a billion dollars in damage, including the destruction of two hospitals, two freeway interchanges and the Lower Van Norman Dam. Damage to the dam caused concern that the dam, of the earthen bulwark type, might collapse, in whole or in part.
end quote from wikipedia.
This was a really horrible quake. Though the magnitude was only 6.6 it went on forever at about 6 am. I remember it waking me up and really terrifying me. I had been to see the movie "MASH" at a drive in theater in Palm Springs the night before. I was 22. I was living that winter near Yucca Valley up on Yucca Mesa with my parents. Even that far away from the epicenter I thought I was going to die because it just kept shaking and shaking and shaking. It didn't seem to ever want to stop. It was the longest shaking I have ever experienced. It threw me out of my bed and onto the floor and bounced me around the room. It was still dark and I waited for it to end. By the last 30 seconds of the quake I finally decided we were all dead. For a Californian this is serious but I was okay with it for the first minute and a half of shaking but then it went too far even for me. A part of me believed that either a nuclear blast had occurred(partly because flashes of light were happening as power shorted out on nearby lines and some small propane tanks likely blew up when they were thrown off their moorings.) or I thought the coast was going to sink because the shaking was just so very long and painful for every living thing.
My ex-wife at that time was married to her first husband and they were in college and all their books fell on them and hurt them and all the power poles snapped and fell onto cars outside and every dish and window broke in their apartment when this happened. They were closer to the epicenter than I was.
Also, the 3.8 Chicago quake concerns me partly because of my vision about The Yellowstone Caldera which scientists say could go anytime from now on into the next thousand years or so.
If my vision was correct there would have to be volcanic eruptions between Japan and Alaska and also earthquake or volcanic activity between Alaska and down the Cascade range. If those things happen first and only if the eruption of the Caldera could occur in late March or early April. However, I have never had this complicated a vision come true. The ones that come true are usually single pointed and direct. Because of this I only give it a 25% chance of actually happening.

The following continues after the above:
However, here Lilu was looking at Golden. Yes, Lilu was 70 now but things had changed. She couldn't really blame Silver because she knew he didn't consider Purple human. But here was Golden, Purple and Silver's and Marilyn Monroe's son and he was human enough to pass medical tests. Even though he could live in space without a space suit or swim underwater without air and do a lot of other things most(if not all other humans couldn't do).
So, what is the meaning in all this, she thought? What had life brought her? In Silver's mind he was still faithful. Purple had alluded to Earth turning into something Lilu couldn't tolerate if she chose immortality like Silver, Purple and Golden had. She thought deep and hard if choosing immortality would be a good or a bad thing.
Finally, one day while walking alone on her friends' private island she ran into Silver also walking alone and observing nature. His way of approaching life tended to be much different than most people. But today he seemed troubled. When he saw Lilu he said, "I'm having trouble Lilu. It looks like this all is upsetting you, too?" Lilu looked into Silver and he looked old, confused and forlorn. Though he still looked 35 like she did from new medical rejuvenation techniques she felt sorry for him. Silver said, "This Golden thing complicates our life more than any other single event that has occurred. I feel set up for this by the Galactic Sentience but to be upset about that is counterproductive because I am an offshoot of him and designed by him. I'm sort of like an artwork, a masterpiece human specifically designed by the Galactic Sentience for such a purpose. If I believed in God the way you do Lilu I would have to consider the Galactic Sentience a prime candidate for God, even though he doesn't consider himself a God. However, to most beings there is no real way to cope with a being made entirely of energy that is very big like stars and constellations in real life who can have almost unlimited incarnations as humans of earth or anyplace else in the Galaxy simultaneously. I just can't seem to wrap my mind around all this in any kind of useful way."
Lilu looked at Silver and said, "Because you are a microcosm of a God this makes you a God too.
I think this is the most useful way to look at it. It is not that you are THE God of the Universe. You are one of the many Gods God has made here on earth."
Silver seemed to brighten at this. He said, "Yes. To think any other way right now seems only to lead to a type of insanity and dissolution. One can be physically immortal and cease to function. So if I want to continue functioning in a healthy way this must be how I must perceive myself." More later.

Google Translator
http://www.google.com/ig?hl=en&referrer=ign
I had a comment on one of my articles that was in Chinese. So I was able to find the Google Translator that I could paste Chinese into to find out what it said: Here is the tranlation:
The best way to foster a child is for the parent to be an able bodied person.
I found this interesting because it sounded like a Confucian saying.
I was then having trouble getting my sea legs being without my Armour Thyroid medicine for the first week or two. I can't get a replacement in the U.S. that works as well for me anymore. I have to try to get it from Canada. If you too are suffering the loss of Armour thyroid in the U.S. here is one of several locations where you can get some from Canada. But you do need a doctor's prescription to use Canadian pharmacy companies.
http://www.canadadrugs.com
The following website defines the problem:
http://www.news-medical.net/news/20090915/Forest-Laboratories-places-Armour-Thyroid-medication-on-back-order.aspx
I learned from one of the consumer complaints forums that Armour thyroid is actually powdered thyroid gland (T3) and Synthroid (T4). For people like myself this is a miracle cure. And it is causing serious problems for thousands of people in the U.S. to not be able to get their miracle cure here in the U.S. anymore.
My wife's and my grief therapist( each of us lost our last parent in 2008) told me that he had studied hypothyroidism and diabetes and was very surprised at all the physiological and psychological changes that are caused by both diseases. Though undiagnosed and untreated diabetes will more likely be fatal, undiagnosed or untreated hypothyroidism seriously affects people's lives and reduces their quality of life and seriously shortens their lives as long as it isn't diagnosed or treated.
One of the many potential causes of hypothyroidism is being a vegetarian. So even though I had the clearest arteries and veins of any person my doctors had ever seen at Stanford Medical when I had an angiogram, likely being raised from birth a lacto ovo vegetarian also likely helped give me hypothyroidism(the body isn't making enough thyroid to keep hormones in balance). Some of the symptoms can be unable to keep warm, confused thoughts, feeling like you are not yourself, heart palpitations, various heart issues etc.
If you have any of these symptoms getting a t3 and a t4 blood test for thyroid imbalance might be useful.

Hope 2010
Sometimes hope comes from unexpected or unlikely places. It is said the brightest day comes after the darkest night. I have seen this many times in my life and many others lives as well.
The important thing is to be open to hope and not turn your back on it. Unless you are open to hope you turn your back on it. If you turn your back on hope then there can't be hope without your being open to hope.
It is like a cup. Sometimes we as a cup have to be empty to be filled with hope. Sometimes we just have to empty out the old stale stuff and start over and allow our cup to be filled with new hope.

Talking to God Tuesday February 9th
Fred:I've been scared lately God
God: You should have talked to me sooner.
Fred:Yes. It was stupid wasn't it.
God: No. You were just adjusting to all the changes in your life and getting your bearings.
Fred: What should I be doing?"
God: Remember all the times you thought your life was over?
Fred:Yes
God: I got you through so many terrible things. Do you think I'm going to abandon you now?
Fred: No. I just got scared. Not being able to get the prescription I depend on scared me.
God: You survived without it for 20 or more years. I will see you go on no matter what.
Fred: I know, God. But sometimes it just seems there are just too many changes to make sense of at times.
God:The world is changing, Fred. It always has and always will. Did you think it would be 1953 when you were 5 years old forever?
Fred: At the time I wished it would change. I found the 1950s from age 2 to 12 pretty boring.
God: But now you long for all the people now gone?
Fred: Yes. I miss the security of those times and all the people I knew and loved then. I like equality so everyone doesn't have to struggle so much but even though it was boring there was for me a security that is gone now.
God: Like I said Fred everything keeps changing and no one stops that.
Fred: What should I do, God?
God: You are doing exactly what I want, now. Just be ready to do my work anytime anywhere.
Fred: I know, God. I try to do that.
God: Sometimes trying to hard defeats the purpose.
Fred: I can see that.
God: It's like your Grandmother told you, "Let go let God!".
Fred: Thanks God. I'll remember that.
God: You should have talked to me sooner.

Cyber Changes
For all intents and purposes, the U.S. is financially interdependant with China and the U.S. is historically interdependant with Europe. So, in the end all these countries all need each other for various reasons. I don't think it is actually useful to think of China and the U.S. in competition with each other. Just like it is not useful to think of the European Union in competition with the U.S.
So, if we apply this to what is happening in the Flat world of Cyberspace, the biggest threats likely are not national threats but of terrorist and organize crime groups. It is true that Governments(all of them) can implicitly or explicitly allow criminal or terrorist elements to do things that the whole world would frown upon but that is what nations tend to do.
So, to actually make sense of what is happening in cyberspace one has to remember that PCs were never designed originally for the internet. No. The internet was an afterthought for PCs and for that matter all computers. Had PCs and other computers and software been designed around the internet you would see a different result. So instead what we have is a patchwork software system with "back doors" originally put in by programmers for easier "debugging" of software when the software was originally written being used for other purposes by criminals and terrorists. What was once "when writing an original software program" a useful debugging tool for programmers more and more gets misused by criminals to harm people through the theft of their information worldwide. An even bigger problem is the theft of monies from Banking institutions worldwide through the internet. However, banks buy insurance from companies like AIG to protect against this kind of thing. However, it is important to remember that the actual theft from U.S. banks and Companies over the internet has reached 1 trillion dollars a year.
Understanding this you can see why the U.S. Government is getting more and more involved in Cyber space to police all these problems. And likewise we see China starting to send to jail members of hacking groups in their country as well.

Strong earthquake hits off southern Japan coast
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100207/ap_on_re_as/as_japan_earthquake
A 6.4 earthquake struck off the southern coast of Japan today. On January 12th I think at least 12 hours apart both the 6.5 Eureka California and the Haiti 7.0 hit. First the Eureka hit and then the Haiti Quake hit.
a friend of mine who is very sensitive to earthquakes going off had told me the night before the Eureka quake that there was going to be at least one big one. she was right. Not only that all the pain in my body left as soon as the eureka quake hit since I live on the California Coast near the San Francisco Bay. Though I'm not as sensitive to quakes as my friend, often I too, know when they will hit. However, for me, it comes in visions. For example, before the 1989 Loma Prieta quake for example, Death came to me and held up two boney fingers in my dream wearing the black robes of the grim reaper. Since Death had never come to me in this form before I realized it was very important. The next day I was able with my wife's help to realize the week the quake came. Since we were then in family student housing at UCSC we decided to play it safe and ride it out on Maui so our kids would be alive. However, looking back from now I'm not sure leaving the mainland was a good idea. It seems like preparing enough bottled water and non-perishable food to keep in home or private vehicle or both might be a much less financially stressful idea for most folks than flying the family to Maui like I did then and watching the quake live on CNN TV.
It happened on September 18th 1989.
Like then I had a similar vision soon after the Eureka quake and before the Haiti quake. I have been hoping my vision was wrong all along. However, it is so complicated I don't see how it could be valid. However, all the elements of my vision so far have been what I was shown before.
I saw over 6.0 quakes spread down the "Ring of Fire" from Eureka to South America. So I was surprised it hit Haiti with a 7.0 until I looked more carefully at the fault lines and realized that there was a long fault line from the "Ring of Fire" heading over toward Haiti. The next large quake was south of South America in the Ocean. It was a 6.3. Then I noticed many in the 5.5 to 5.9 range near Haiti. Then many over 6.0 in the Pacific Ocean and even a 6.2 south of Australia last week. Then there is the 6.2 of Indonesia this week and now the 6.4 off southern Japan.
So, my vision mentioned above 6.0s going clockwise from Eureka down through South America and then going up the western part of the ring of fire. So, for my vision to continue to be correct one of the next 6.0s or above would have to bring a volcanic eruption somewhere between Japan and Alaska possibly in the Aleutian Islands chain. The next part of my vision an over 6.0 hits one or more of the Cascade volcanoes like Baker, Rainier, Hood, Shasta, Lassen or any of the numerous others in this chain of volcanoes. One of the Cascade volcanoes going off or an over 6.0 earthquake in this region would be one of the last pieces of the vision that would be the trigger for an eruption of the Yellowstone Caldera. I personally can't totally believe that this complicated a vision could possibly come true. However, the strange thing is that it has so far.
The time in the vision was between January through about April 4th. Earlier I saw that the end of it all was within late March but recently I keep getting this date April 4th. However, something seems to happen this date but I'm not convinced at present that it is an earthquake.
The real usefulness of this vision is for others of you who are also intuitives like me to crosscheck what I'm getting. If it has meaning for you in one way or another it may help you save lives with your gifts. So that is how I see this being the most useful if you to are getting useful visions like
I am.

In dying I am reborn
To say this is sort of like saying like the lyrics of the song, "And you can survive to 105 if you're young at heart". And both things are equally powerful in regard to longevity.
It is my experience that being too attached to anything causes death. However, the childlike state of wonder and expectancy where literally anything can happen and you know it leads to a long life.
When I say, "In dying I am reborn" I'm not really talking about physically dying. No, I'm actually talking about psychological death. I'm 61 now but I have died hundreds and likely thousands of times psychologically. I believe it is one of the secrets to my having lived this long in the first place.
I have always felt close to God since I was about 15. (I felt close to God between ages 0 and 12) but then didn't know what I believed from 13 to 14 and got it back again at 15. So, since 15 I have learned to "die to self". So, whenever life just gets too crazy or impossible to deal with I will go to sleep at night and say to God, "God, this is just too much! It's just too crazy. Let me die!" And I do and I wake up reborn again in God's heart and mind the next morning.
Sometimes at night when this happens I really want to be dead but I also say to God, "Take my life if it is your Will oh God. However, if it is your will I will be restored in the morning and go on living."
This is not just an intellectual process. No. It is complete to the core of my being, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, completely. So when I wake up after this I'm a completely different person than the night before and completely restored.
So, "In dying I am reborn!" It is one of the secrets to a long and happy life!
