I saw "The Fifth Estate" today with my wife. I think if you want to understand what this information revolution that Julian Assange sort of started (Wikileaks) and Snowden is now continuing seeing this movie might help.
However, as you progress through the movie you wonder what Assange is thinking and realize he is sort of in a world of his own. At first I wanted to call him an International Populist but maybe a very smart man who was abused in some ways when he was young combined with being mildly autistic who dies his hair white might be a more useful explanation of who he is. Whatever he is you must agree he does this with style whether or not you agree with him or not.
I personally find it hard to justify outing things that are going to get a whole lot of people killed and others put in prison. But that's just me.
However, I think all of us will agree we haven't seen the end of people with values like Assange and Snowden.
But, if you are an intelligent person you will know when you see this that no government, no company, no U.S. state, county, City, corporation, company, group or individual will be safe from people like this in both the best good way as well as the worst bad way (dead) from people like this in the future of Earth.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
