. However, what is actually true is that Lilu was 5 years old in 1997 when "The Fifth Element" came out and went to see this movie with her parents. She fell in love with the character "Lilu" who is an incarnate Goddess (literally) in the movie. So though her birth name was Linda they started calling her "Lilu" after the character in the movie as a joke. But to Lilu (Linda) this wasn't a joke. She completely identified with the character Lilu in the movie and kept this nickname for the rest of her life. So, when Silver met Lilu and when Bret knew Lilu she still kept this name because she saw herself as a Goddess. And many people who met her experienced this too when they were around her.
