NPR executive calls Tea partiers racist and xenophobic

Someone secretly taped an NPR executive calling Tea Partiers racist and Xenophobic. The word xenophobic means, "
Xenophobia is defined as the "hatred or fear of foreigners or strangers or of their politics or culture".[1] It comes from the Greek words ξένος (xenos), meaning "stranger," "foreigner" and φόβος (phobos), meaning "fear."[2]

Since 70% of Americans don't have a passport one might call this 70% either poor, uninterested in travel or xenophobic, your pick. Whether Tea Partiers are racist or not it would be hard to know for sure unless they told you outright.

In the present Politically correct world, racism isn't allowed and people aren't allowed to actually say what they think. So, because of this any ethnic group that doesn't like any other ethnic group isn't allowed to say so to their face. Though I think this is polite it might not in the end be realistic.

However, this false politeness saves a lot of lives worldwide. So, maybe it is necessary to avoid wars and squabbles and one of the reasons why there haven't been any really big wars on earth since World War II.
