I think that Blogger's around the world by quoting and sharing important information perform a service. In many countries of the world there is only one point of view shown in the news. The people there may or may not agree with this point of view. So, by being able to read quotes and by bloggers writing original thoughts the world tends to get more points of view. This then helps prevent large wars but might not prevent small ones. By helping prevent larger wars around the world by allowing multiple point of view to be heard less people likely will have to die in confrontations or warfare. Also, weather alerts might help people to survive when weather is changing drastically too. So, being better informed people might live longer, healthier and more productive lives all over the planet from the help that bloggers can send worldwide.
