Soap Operas?

My wife is presently interested in "Vampire Diaries" because our 17 year old daughter is too. I can't deal with it at all because to me it is a perversion of the whole Saint Germain way of looking at things. The Saint Germain Consciousness is very tied in with "The Body and the Blood of Christ" in it's transmutational aspects. So, though I find I can watch things like the "Twilight" series or comedies about Vampires, I can't stomach watching series about vampires that go on forever. Because my reaction tends to be "As the Stomach Turns" or "I want to vomit". But for people where the whole vampire way of thinking it only titilating and not based upon a potential supernatural reality that is perverted sometimes people like this sort of thing. But, for an intuitive like me who literally lives in both the worlds of the living and the dead it is not something I want to meditate upon. I'm very careful what I put my attention upon. If I'm not solving a problem then often I will become part of the problem because I'm an intuitive. So, I respect what I am as an intuitive who lives in the world of the dead and the living all the time as a natural shaman. I find it an advantage to know things before they happen but it isn't for the faint of heart.

Anyway, she wanted me to look up a movie from the 1950s that a lot of soap opera consciousness is based upon which is:

Peyton Place (1957) - IMDb

www.imdb.com/title/tt0050839/
Rating: 7.1/10 - ‎3,242 votes
Peyton Place (1957) on IMDb ... Peyton Place -- Based on the novel by Grace Metalious, Peyton Place is about ... Stars: William Holden, Kim Novak, Betty Field.

Another movie which I found very disturbing as a child was:

A Summer Place (1959) - IMDb

www.imdb.com/title/tt0053320/
Rating: 6.7/10 - ‎1,662 votes
7 hours ago; Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Are Engaged: Report 20 hours ago .... also liked... Peyton Place ... Stars: William Holden, Kim Novak, Betty Field.

Kim Novak was also in this one too. However, the person I was upset about what happened to was Sandra Dee who I identified with as an 11 year old because she seemed kind of clueless like a lot of 11 year olds are too compared to jaded and staid adults. So, this was a very horrifying movie for me and likely contributed to me not impregnating anyone until I was old enough to handle it at age 25. So this was a good thing for me to be totally freaked out by this movie when I was 11.

So, according to my wife "Peyton Place" was a template for Soap Operas and "Mystic Falls" seemed to be a template for "Vampire Soaps".
