What's going on with Putin?
Could he be perceived as another type of Hitler because of his actions in Syria and Ukraine?
I think this depends upon what he does now and into the future more than what he has done in the past up until now.
It also depends upon what the United Nations and the world do in response to what Putin is doing now.
There is a saying Russian Generals have always subscribed to and it is: "Push the bayonet in and if there is no resistance keep on pushing but if you feel resistance then pull back."
And this is what is presently going on now. In other words imagine Russia as a bully bullying people. If no one stops him he will continue to get worse and worse. This is likely the case now as well.
However, since Russia still has nuclear weapons the way this is done is important too.
I heard a good statement today which is: "Don't bring a Baguette to a knife fight" which is what Obama might be doing now as well as most of Europe and NATO.
The problem is that if there is only nuclear war or nothing else, Putin wins. There must be consequences for Putin in order for him to stop and back off short of threats of Nuclear WAR. Otherwise, why would he stop with Ukraine?
Why wouldn't he move through Europe taking back one country at a time into a new Soviet Union of sorts?
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
