When you do this you get better results with all of mankind. For example, when I grew up children were "EXPENDIBLE" much more than now. We that grew up in the 1950s died like flies just like all generations born before us. Part of this was because parents up to about 1900 or 1950 expected that about 1/2 of their children to die from accidents, or childhood diseases by age 12. This was just they way things always were before about 1940.
However, then Penicillin was invented and polio shots were invented and whooping cough shots were invented along with Flu Shots and now Covid shots etc.
Because of this people can expect likely 9 children out of 10 to survive at least here in the U.S.
Once this happened people were not preparing so much for most of their children to die before 12 or 20 like people were always before 1900 to 1950.
When you combine intuition, instinct, science, logic, Reason and compassion you tend to increase the chances for each child to survive.
However, to be realistic this same nice way of being also throws out of balance the laws of nature which is why we have global warming caused by human overpopulations too.
So, saving lives is also at a certain point suicidal for the human race and all life here on earth.
So, to be realistic one must realize this too.
