The remnants of Hurricane Hilary dumped also on Mt. Shasta after devastating everywhere from Baja California up through California and it's deserts and the Sierras.
When it hit Mt. Shasta a friend sent me a video of what it did above MacBride Springs with a video of it bringing Rocks, and pieces of trees and limbs across Everitt Memorial highway.
This is now a day or two later when a friend driving by the Mt. Shasta High School told me that that mud slide with rocks and trees and other debris wound up in the parking lot there at the high school.
He was really surprised it had gone down from 5000 or 6000 feet several miles to the high school which is at about 3500 Feet in elevation. He drove by today and saw this first hand. There were rocks and trees in the parking lot of the high school from the long long mud slide and Everitt Memorial Highway is still closed as of today.
